De retour d'une longue mission, la flotte du jeune amiral Reinhardt Von Musel est dépêchée de toute urgence sur la dangereuse planète Legmiza afin d'y affronter une flotte ennemie. A l'issue de ce combat, pendant lequel l'amiral se révèle fin tacticien et stratège hors-pair, on lui offre l'immense privilège d'occuper une place importante dans le dispositif qui verra s'affronter prochainement les deux camps dans une lutte décisive...
